RRC, the worldwide leading company for power supplies, batteries and battery charging technology, is proud to release their first standard battery with multiple prismatic cells in 3s1p configuration, including a redundant safety circuit and smart battery management system.

The new RRC2140 battery with just 8mm in thickness is extremely thin. It is designed to fit into very slim devices, such as the back of a PC display or part of a PC board, or in a tablet-like device for the medical and industrial markets.

RRC2140 has an optimized capacity of 3880mAh at a nominal voltage of 11.4V. The overall energy density is 44.2Wh.

The RRC2140 complies with the SMBus communication standard version 1.1 as well as the JEITA standard, which uses optimized charging profiles based on different temperatures.
