In Rack Cooling is an efficient cooling method for very high density Data Center Racks. It can support 10-35KW per Rack.
With a closed loop air conditioning inside the rack, the rack can operate in various office environments, such as office space, retail and bank branches and EDGE computing locations.
In Rack Cooling
The Libert CRV-L is a precision cooling unit in chilled water and DX configuration to be installed side by side with high-density computing racks.
It can be used as closed air loop rack cooling device (L version) or as hybrid (H) with air supply to the front door to the room. This versatility is achieved by using interchangeable side panels to alter the air flow pattern. Hybrid version and closed loop version support “Cold Room” concept. Air is drawn by fans from the rear of the CRV through the heat exchanger cooled down and discharged into the front.
Hybrid Cooling
- Hybrid configuration – air flow is contained in the cabinet or cabinet row and room.
- Cooling units and cabinets are open at the front and closed at the back.
- No heat load in the room, warm air remains inside cabinets.
- Distribution of cold air throughout the room, cold air reserve in case of cooling system failure.
- Better alternative to hot aisle containment.
- No raised floor required.
Rear Door Heat Exchanger
The DCD (short for Datacenter Door) is a passive heat exchanger door unit that cools the hot air coming out of the servers. The air coming out of the rear of the cabinet is cooled down to the desired temperature, thereby neutralizing the impact of the servers on the room temperature. The DCD can work with CW temperatures up to 18C and cool up to 35KW.
